Sunday, December 29, 2013

Vodafone's #MadeFor series ad is continuing with the smartest smartphone ever i.e. Galaxy Note 3. This new Vodafone ad features a foreigner coming to India with nothing but a smartphone. He makes use of his Galaxy Note 3 with Gear to translate, navigate, entertain himself and finally reunites with his friends who were camping in a forest.

The background song is nicely written and describes the anxiety, nervousness and confidence at the same time.

Lyrics of Vodafone Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with Gear Foreigner Ad :

13 hours of bollywood on a very slow very old bus,
My personal entertainment is certainly a plus,
There is a sign at the crossroads but who knows what it means,
A second opinion would be helpful thank goodness for machines,

I think I am lost in translation and may be lost in person,
I better find a shortcut before the weather worsens,
It gets lonely when there are no other humans,
That is why I say to you there is nothing like reunions !

The spend time with each other, hang out together but gets different seats for a movie from the ticket counter.

The ad is funny, makes you chuckle a lot. Expressions of the actors are good, the background music is typical bollywood which suits it to the core. The message at last strikes the summary, "Triangle filmo me theek hai per film ke seating me triangle?"

Partitions divide countries, friendships find a way
The India-Pakistan partition in 1947 separated many friends and families overnight. A granddaughter in India decides to surprise her grandfather on his birthday by reuniting him with his childhood friend (who is now in Pakistan) after over 6 decades of separation, with a little help from Google Search.

Google didn't mentioned who is the composer and singer of the ad but we can tell after hearing the pleasant song that the singer is Piyush Mishra.
